Here at LNER we’re all about putting the heart into everyone’s journey and showing that we always care about the communities we serve. To create a legacy and a lasting impact, we have partnered with the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) who are leading a movement against suicide; the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK.
We can’t support every request that we get, so we have some guidelines below to help you understand what we can and can’t say yes to.

Raffle/Auction Prizes
We’re happy to donate a pair of standard class complimentary tickets for travel on London North Eastern Railway Services to fundraisers which align with our dedication to Mental Health, Employability, Environment, Diversity and Inclusion. Each individual request is assessed on a case by case basis and will be subject to availability.
Sorry, but we are not able to support:
Charity partnerships
This is due to our existing charity partnership with CALM, we aren’t seeking to take on additional partnerships at present.
School trips and large groups
We welcome school parties and large groups travelling on our services. We’re not able to provide complimentary tickets for these trips, but our
Group Travel Team
will be able to help find you the best deals.
Small groups

We’re really sorry, as a school we’re not able to support your request but if you’re thinking of taking a class or even the whole school somewhere on our network you could save money using a Group Travel ticket.

To request supported travel please complete the form below, support is only available to the individual undergoing treatment and those accompanying the individual (up to a maximum of 3 people).
You’ll need to submit a copy of an appointment letter to verify the request for support and please note that our offer is purely discretionary and can be withdrawn at any time.
Due to the number of requests we receive it can take up to 10 working days to receive a response so please ensure you allow enough time in planning your journey.
